In order to have a successful Orientation experience, it is important that you bring the following items:
1. Photo Identification
During Orientation, you will need to provide an acceptable form of government-issued photo identification (driver’s license or passport) in order to receive your UMBC Campus ID Card. Students will have the opportunity to get their UMBC Campus ID card during morning check-in.
2. Comfortable Clothing and Shoes
Orientation for all students and family members does require walking around campus and time both inside and outside. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for your visit.
3. Mandatory Health Form and Immunization Records
If you have not yet turned in your Mandatory Health Form and Immunization Records to University Health Services, you can turn them in during your Orientation program.
4. Admissions Paperwork
We recommend you bring any Admissions paperwork, such as unofficial transcripts from your previous institution(s), to Orientation. This will assist with the Advising & Registration process during Orientation.
5. Parking Pass for Orientation
The Orientation parking pass allows you to park in the Stadium Lot for free on your designated program date. Parking passes are included in both your Orientation confirmation letter (mailed 2 weeks prior to your program) and your Orientation confirmation email (sent 2 days prior to your program).
