Orientation Requirements by Student Type

New Student Orientation is required for all new first year undergraduate students. You will register for both an on-campus orientation day and a virtual advising session. Incoming students can register for Orientation via the online Orientation registration system.

New Student Orientation is required for all new transfer students. You will register for both an on-campus orientation day and a virtual advising session. Incoming students can register for Orientation via the online Orientation registration system.

New Student Orientation is required for all new undergraduate international students. You will register for both an on-campus orientation day and a virtual advising session. Incoming students can register for Orientation via the online Orientation registration system. You will also be required to attend International Student Orientation provided by the Office of International Students and Scholars.

Family Members & Guests are encouraged but not required to attend New Student Orientation. We have sessions designed specifically for family members. Each student can bring up to two family members or guests to orientation programming.

New Student Orientation is not required for non-degree seeking and readmitted students. Please consult your departmental advisor for assistance with course registration.
