Combine your Orientation program with this unique on-campus overnight experience! Whether you will be living on-campus or commuting in the Fall, UMBC is going to become your new Basecamp! Dawg Days: Basecamp will allow you to get a real sense of what life is like as a Retriever!
On Day 1, you will participate in a variety of fun and dynamic activities that will connect you with other new students and the UMBC campus. You will also stay overnight in one of our residence halls! On Day 2, you will go through traditional campus Orientation, where you will be introduced to some of our UMBC traditions, connect to campus resources and leaders.
What does Dawg Days: Basecamp offer that a 1-day Orientation doesn’t?!
– Overnight stay in one of our residence halls
– Fun evening activities, including some UMBC signature events, Dodgeball, Bingo, and Karaoke.
– Additional time for schedule exploration and planning
– Opportunity to meet and connect with students in your major
