Participate in the Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center challenge course, which is one of the largest of its kind in the country, comprised of over 60 low and high ropes course elements. In the morning, Genesee Valley staff will lead our group of new students in a variety of team building challenges and games. In the afternoon, students can choose to participate in 1 of 3 high elements. Fly across overwater zip lines, take on the high ropes static course (a series of obstacles from tree to tree), or challenge yourself with a unique climbing activity. This is a great opportunity to meet other incoming UMBC students and make new friends!
