11:15 a.m. ENRL and ARTC 301: Preparing to Enroll, Articulation and Transfer Credit Overview
Academic advisors will give you an overview of the UMBC advising tools, the role of your academic advisor, and academic requirements. You will also learn from the Registrar’s Office about transfer credit policies and the review process, and how to better understand your transfer credit report.

Enjoy lunch with your peers in our all-you-can-eat dining hall.
12:25 p.m. UNIV 301: An Introduction to the Honors University
Learn tips and tricks from a faculty member on how to make the most of your UMBC experience. Hear their favorite UMBC memories and personal stories.
1:15 p.m. Advising and Registration
During this session, you will meet with an orientation advisor to discuss your interests and goals, develop a course schedule, and register online for your first semester of classes!
3:00 p.m. Taking Care of Business
This is time for you to take care of any additional business while on campus. This is also a good time to follow up with any of the offices you heard from earlier in the day, such as the Bookstore, Career Center, Counseling Center, Off-Campus Student Services, Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Business Services, Student Disability Services, and many more.
3:30 p.m. Retriever Roundup and Meet Ups
Get Retriever ready by picking up your free T-Shirt and snapping a picture with True Grit! Reconnect with your family and friends while enjoying some light refreshments and being able to chat one-on-one with UMBC community members.
4:15 p.m. Meet-Ups for Adult Learners (25+), Student Parents, and Veterans
Connect with fellow adult learners, students parents, and veterans and staff from Off-Campus Student Services, Women’s Center, and or/Veterans Benefits. Along with a tour of our spaces, this time will carve out the opportunity for you to build your support network and identify resources connected to the experiences you’re bringing with you to UMBC.
